Through prayer, God touched my heart with a vision to build something new. I found inspiration in an unexpected place: seeing how businesses stayed connected with their teams remotely. I realized then that the same technology could be a powerful tool for the church, keeping us united in spirit even when we couldn't meet in person.
With a simple conference platform and months of careful preparation, I developed a series of lessons designed to ground us in the Word. On Sunday evening, November 27, 2016, the "Shophar of Praise Tabernacle Empowerment Hour" was born. My wife and I were joined by ten members that first night, and today, we stand in awe of God’s faithfulness as we prepare to celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2026.
During these years of study, I noticed that certain church traditions and doctrines had subtly shifted away from their scriptural roots. This wasn't always intentional; often, it was simply the result of limited resources or teaching in the past. My desire was never to complain, but to serve. I felt called to provide a place where the truth of God's Word could be clearly taught and embraced.
This led to the founding of the "Shophar of Praise Tabernacle Bible School." My deepest hope is to equip and train church leaders, helping them reach new spiritual heights. We want to empower you to see, embrace, and bring to life the vision God has given your Pastor for your congregation. Together, we can reset our spiritual compasses toward the true direction God intended from the very beginning.

A Heartfelt Message from Our President
The "Shophar of Praise Tabernacle Bible School" is an online learning community for those who are truly passionate about studying the Word of God. We welcome students who are eager to grow beyond the surface and seek a deeper, higher understanding of God’s eternal truths, line upon line and precept upon precept.
Our school grew out of the "Shophar of Praise Tabernacle Empowerment Hour," a Sunday night Bible study inspired by my wife Jennifer’s deep desire to learn. At the time, our work schedules made it difficult to attend physical classes several miles away, so we stepped out in faith to create a space for spiritual growth right where we were.

OBJECTIVES AND STATEMENTS OF FAITH
Mission Statement
The Shophar of Praise Tabernacle Bible School is a Christ-centered Non-Denominational Ministry. We provide personal growth through the understanding of Scriptures which foster faith, which leads to spiritual maturity and a personal relationship with God - neither can be achieved without the other. In so doing, the body of Christ will be empowered and equipped in the building of the Church, the Body of Christ. We are a full Gospel ministry, believing that in this dispensation of grace, the gifts and calling of the Holy Spirit are still active until the dispensation of the millennium of Christ is in effect. We prohibit any discrimination as it pertains to race, color, nationality, ethnic origin, or disability.

1. To establish and nurture a maturing relationship with God.
Through:
a. Constant Bible reading.
b. Meditation.
c. Prayer - (fasting).
2. To assist believers in the areas of:
a. Cultivating the best study habits they can.
b. How to apply God’s Word to their everyday lifestyle.
c. How to apply Scriptures in Church ministry.
3. To help students cultivate, enhance, and develop their interpersonal communicative, stewardship, and leadership skills which are essential for effective Christian Ministry.
Statements of Faith
WE BELIEVE:
1. GOD: - That there is but One True and Living God, maker of Heaven and earth, and all things visible; (John 1:3). That He is a Spirit, Eternal, Everlasting, Omnipresence, Omniscient, and Omnipotent. That He is the Triune Godhead as eternally existent in the Person: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
2. JESUS: - One Lord and Savior, Jesus The Christ the only begotten Son of God. Preexistent with the Father before all worlds; begotten, not made; Himself being the fullness of the Godhead, being of substance with the Father, and by Whom all things were made; and by Whom all things consist. (John 1:3); (Colossians 1:17). That this “Jesus The Christ” was manifest for our salvation, and that He came down from Heaven as the Logos (Living Word), and was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of a Virgin: Mary, and was made man. He was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. (1 John 3:5-10; John 1:1; 14; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; 1 Timothy 6:13-15).
3. That this “Jesus The Christ” suffered, died, and was buried, and on the third day He arose according to the Scriptures, and ascended into Heaven; and that He now sits on the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and advocate, and that His personal return in power and great glory is eminent; and in His present and everlasting dominion; and that He shall also come again in great Glory to judge the quick and the dead - Whose Kingdom shall have no end. (Luke 24:51-53; Acts 1:1-12; 2 Thess. 1:7-9; 2 Timothy 4:1).
4. In the Deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; His sinlessness; His miracles, and His absolute purity. In His vicarious and atoning death, and in the power of His shed blood. In His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His present Priestly ministry.
5. The Holy Ghost: - The Holy Ghost is the Giver of Life, Who proceedeth from the Father and the Son; Whom together is worshiped, and that by Whom Christ is glorified: spoke by the prophets, and in the House of God which is the Church of the Living God; the pillar and ground of Truth. (John 16:13-14; 17:5; 1 Timothy 3:15).
6. And acknowledge one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, One God and Father of all, Who is above all, and through all, and in you all; (believers) (Ephesians 4:3-8).
7. The Bible: - To be the inspired, inerrant, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. Containing also the words of man, angels, and devils.
8. In Evangelistic and Missionary fervor and endeavors, such as: Street Meetings and public declaration of the Faith.
9. In the Full-Gospel, and ministry of the fivefold ministry gifts; also, that which includes faith and deliverance from evil powers.
10. MAN: - That man is born condemn and spiritually dead. In the “Total Depravity” of man – that is, man cannot in anyway save himself. That for the salvation of lost and sinful man; repentance and regeneration by the Holy Spirit, is absolutely essential for eternal life. We further believe in justification and sanctification as a work of grace, in the believers’ life, through the power of God.
11. In sanctification and personal holiness of heart, also in the overcoming life as God’s design for the Church, which is the Body of Christ.
12. In water Baptism by immersion. We also believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as on the day of Pentecost; and in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit as evidenced in charismatic gifts and ministries; and in His fruit produced in the life of the believer.
13. That divine healing and deliverance are obtained on the basis of the atonement and “work of the cross”.
14. In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal punishment.
15. In Christ’s Second Coming and the Rapture of the Saints; in which the dead in Christ shall rise first, and they which are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Him in the air.
16. In the literal millennium reign of Christ and His redeemed church upon the earth.
17. In the existence of angels, demons and the existence of a literal devil; in a literal hell, and a literal heaven. We also believe in a literal throne of God.
